Materials Provided
Students
will receive a comprehensive manual, written by the instructor
and only available through "Success Publications" It is
written in outline format and is specifically designed
to closely follow the presentations given. The second
half provides documents and extremely useful sample letters
to supplement information taught.
Additional
handouts and documents are provided to students throughout
the course.
To
supplement the information taught in class, students are
given access to additional resources via a private password
and web access, providing weblinks, contacts, and extremely
useful sample letters
Though
not required, financial calculators are provided for students
to purchase, as a courtesy.

This
course is taught as a set of five sessions, which are
3 or 4 hours each.
Depending
upon the location, class size and number of hours taught
varies. In our location, class size is limited to encourage
student participation and attendee questions.

Instructors
Alan
Silverman has been self employed full time since graduating
Drexel University in 1984. (BS in Business Management
with Honors) Since graduating, he has been purchasing,
renovating, landlording and inspecting local real estate,
as his profession. He has renovated and currently owns
& manages multiple buildings, ranging from single family
homes through apartment buildings. For ten years he also
owned and managed "Eagle Eye" Home Inspectors. Though
currently retired from this aspect of the real estate
industry, he was an ASHI Certified Home Inspector as well
as a retired PA. licensed Radon Tester. He continues to
be a PA licensed Insurance Adjuster Solicitor.
Beside
his own personal real estate interests, Mr. Silverman
currently teaches many of his real estate investing secrets
at local colleges and in his own location. He also forms
affinity
groups and is available to work with individual investors
on a consulting
basis.
Cost
and Location
Cost
and program differs slightly at the various locations
where we teach.
- At our private facility:
$249 including manual ($25 value) calculator ($25 value)
and refreshments. The class size at our location is
small... typically no more than 10 students, to provide
more individual attention.
- Fall 2003 at Bucks County Community College:
The registration cost is $99, plus $25 for the book
and $25 for the optional calculator. No refreshments
are provided and class size is typically 25-30 students.
